With leading scientists finding these particles in our bodies and even the placentas of new mothers, what is the impact of these invisible invaders on our health?  Acclaimed author and science journalist Ziya Tong takes a personal approach by visiting leading scientists worldwide and undergoing experiments in the home, food, and on her body while collaborating with award-winning director Ben Addelman in an urgent call to action for all of us to rethink our relationship with plastic. Brought to PGCC by the Sierra Club The Maryland Sierra Club supports local service and nature outings, educates the public on the myriad pressing issues stemming from the climate emergency, plastic pollution crisis and collapse of biodiversity.  We advocate for bold systemic changes at the local and state level for a just and equitable transition from dirty fossil fuels to 100% Clean Renewable Energy, Zero Waste, and Clean Transportation for all while protecting our air, water, land & wildlife for future generations!
