The Prince George’s Community College Startup Cup (PGCC Startup Cup) is a Prince George’s Countywide pitch competition that identifies emerging local entrepreneurs with solid ideas for companies and connects them to the resources that helps them start these companies.
STRT1UP Maryland Tour Virtual Pitch Coaching Session
The PGCC Startup Cup expands on the objectives of the Pitch Gladiator Competition and creates opportunities for entrepreneurial-minded students, faculty, and college affiliated entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas and start companies in Prince George’s County. These entrepreneurs will be supported by the Innovation Hub at Prince George’s Community College.
The INNOHUB@PGCC provides access to talent, services, and training that assists businesses (in all stages) to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability. PGCC Startup Cup is a culmination of a year of activities that will help develop the talent, competency, and entrepreneur IQ of the participants and prepare them to be effective founders. The PGCC Startup Cup serves the broad spectrum of innovators that are part of the Prince George’s Community College ecosystem. They come from different demographics and are engaged in different activities at the college. They can be students, faculty, and local entrepreneurs.
We are teaming up with Startup Maryland to bring their STRT1UP Roadshow to Prince George's County to amplify the PGCC Startup Cup and celebrate entrepreneurship Countywide.
