Directions and Parking

How to get here

From Montgomery County, Maryland

Follow the Beltway south to exit 17A (Upper Marlboro). You will exit onto Landover Road (Route 202 east). Follow Route 202 under the Route 214 overpass. The College is about a half-mile south of the overpass, on the right side of Route 202. Cross the intersection of Campus Way, and take the first right into the campus.

From Virginia or Washington, D.C.

Follow the Beltway (Interstate 495) north, taking exit 15A (Upper Marlboro). Take the Prince George's Community College (PGCC) exit onto Route 202 south (Landover Road). The College is on the right after the traffic signal at Campus Way. If traveling from the District of Columbia, you can also follow East Capitol Street, which becomes Central Avenue. Take the PGCC exit onto Route 202 south. Cross the intersection of Campus Way and take the first right onto the campus.

From Route 301

Take Central Avenue (Route 214 west). Make a left at Campus Way and follow it for about one-quarter mile to Route 202. Make a left onto Route 202. The College will be on your immediate right. Take the first right from Route 202 onto the campus.

Public Transportation

The nearest Metrorail station is Largo Town Center (Blue Line). Because the route from the station to campus isn't pedestrian-friendly, plan to complete your trip by using a rideshare service (e.g., Uber or Lyft) or taxi.

Out-of-area guests can access PGCC easily from DCA (~22 miles), BWI (~30 miles), and IAD (~46 miles). Taxi and rideshare services are recommended when traveling to PGCC from airports.

Parking

Parking is free for students and visitors in designated lots; accessible parking is available in marked spaces close to accessible entries. Please consult the campus map for more details.

Serving both military and civilian students, the center offers evening and weekend classes that can lead to an associate degree in accounting, business administration, business management, criminal justice, or general education. Certificate programs are also available.


 

Laurel College Center

In a unique partnership with Howard Community College, Laurel College Center offers a full range of services and a variety of classes that can lead to an associate degree in business administration, general studies, and psychology. Continuing Education courses, including GED prep and English language learners (ESL) programs, are also available. 


 

Skilled Trades Center

HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance programs provide career training for those new to the industry or experienced workers seeking certifications. Homeowners can gain new skills with concentrated electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, and ceramic tile classes. Our hands-on courses are scheduled in the evening and on weekends to suit working adults.

With more than 40 state-of-the-art classrooms and labs, and a full range of services, you can earn your associate degree close to home and transfer seamlessly to one of many nearby universities. Certificates in health care and childcare, high school diploma options, adult literacy, and an English language learners (ESL) program are also available.

Traffic Appeal Forms

Traffic Appeal forms are available in the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership for those wishing to appeal a traffic ticket. The forms must be completed within 10 business days of the ticket being issued.
