PMP® Exam Eligibility Requirements
Students who meet the Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines can complete MGT-355 to prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam.
Before you apply, make sure you meet all of the following sets of PMP® Certification requirements:
- A four-year degree.
- 36 months of leading projects.
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification.
— OR —
- A high school diploma or an associate degree (or global equivalent).
- 60 months of leading projects.
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification.

MGT-750 Principles of Project Management (1.2 CEUs)
This course introduces project managers' methods and techniques to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control, and report on their projects. Managers with limited experience learn project management concepts, terms, tools, and aspects of the project life cycle as described in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide. This course is strongly recommended prior to taking MGT-355. Instructors: A. Bryan & R. Reynolds.

MGT-355 PMP® Exam Certification Prep (3.6 CEUs)
Participants learn the required Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide concepts such as project scope, life cycle, and management methodologies from project inception and budgeting, schedule and risk management, to program closure and quality assurance. This course is designed for today's busy professional, offering support beyond the classroom with a virtual study group, exam practice questions, and online access to class content. Registered participants prepare for the PMP® exam and have the option of a one-on-one instructor session to assist them in completing the PMP® exam application.

eLearning Methods at PGCC
Online Classes: Learn on Your Own Time Online
Students taking an online class can access course content 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and engage in discussions using Canvas with their instructors and fellow learners. Instructors will set deadlines and due dates for assignments, tests, projects, and other coursework.
Remote Classes: Learn in Real Time
Students taking a remote class will meet online via the Canvas platform at scheduled times. Students will access learning materials, view assignments, and participate in discussions via Canvas.
