MOS Preparation Overview
Learn to create, manage, and modify databases using tables, queries, forms, and reports. Advanced features include the use of sub-forms, PivotTables, and macros. Using Microsoft Access, students will construct various tables, relationships, queries, forms, and reports to solve financial, statistical, and logical problems. This course helps prepare students for the Microsoft Office Specialist certification exam in Access.
Once ready to take the exams, you must purchase the vouchers through Certiport. You can register for the exam by choosing one of the exam dates listed in the schedule of classes.

TEC-408 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Preparation, Part 1
An introductory course that emphasizes the effective use of word processing features to create, format, and manage documents. With Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Preparation Part 2, this course prepares students for the Microsoft Office Certification exam in Word 2019. This course meets concurrently with INT-1290. Students must purchase an exam voucher through Certiport to take the exams.
Cost: $200*

TEC-409 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Preparation, Part 2
An introductory course that emphasizes the effective use of word processing features to create, format, and manage documents using graphics and hyperlinks. Additional topics include document tracking and referencing coverage. With Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Preparation Part 1, this course prepares students for the Microsoft Office Certification exam in Word 2019. This course meets concurrently with INT-1390. Students must purchase an exam voucher through Certiport to take the exams.

TEC-531 Problem-Solving with Databases: MOS Access
This course teaches students to create, manage, and modify databases using tables, queries, forms, and reports. Advanced features include the use of sub-forms, PivotTables, and macros. Using Microsoft Access, students construct a variety of tables, relationships, queries, forms, and reports to solve financial, statistical, and logical problems. Course meets concurrently with credit course INT-2150. This course prepares you for the Microsoft Office Certification Exam (MOS) exam in Access. Students must purchase an exam voucher through Certiport to take the exam.

TEC-532 Problem-Solving with Spreadsheets: MOS Excel Preparation
This comprehensive course uses electronic spreadsheet software to solve problems, analyze financial and other data, set and evaluate scenarios, and effectively present data from spreadsheets in charts. This course will prepare you for the Beginner and Intermediate Microsoft Office Certification (MOS) exams in Excel. This course meets concurrently with credit course INT-2140. Students must purchase an exam voucher through Certiport to take the exam.
