How do I obtain and pay for the voucher?
Any registered PGCC student can purchase exam vouchers for CompTIA tests at a substantial discount. To qualify, you must be a current student who has taken credit or Continuing Education courses within the past two years. The available vouchers include A+, Security+, Cloud+, IT Fundamentals, Linux+, Network+, and CySA+.
Payment is only accepted via credit or debit card, as the payment system does not accept cash or checks. This process is designed to prevent any potential credit card fraud or the unauthorized sale of vouchers.
To initiate the voucher purchase, students must contact a PGCC representative either by phone or email. The representative will then proceed online to complete the purchase.
The online form is set up to prevent saving or printing, and all personal information is automatically deleted upon submission. CompTIA then emails the voucher to PGCC, and the student receives it via email. This process guarantees a maximum turnaround time of 48 hours, although it typically takes much shorter.
The voucher can be used at any Pearson VUE Testing Center. To find a Pearson VUE Testing Center near you, visit the Vue website and search for a local site.

How much does the voucher save?
The amount varies, but when you buy a voucher, your cost for an exam is roughly 50% of the amount paid by the general public. The prices of selected CompTIA exams with and without the discount are:

Who is eligible for the discount voucher?

How long is the voucher good for?
Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue.
What if I decide not to take the certification exam? Can I give or sell the voucher to another person?
Vouchers are not transferable. Attempting to transfer the voucher to another person violates the agreement with CompTIA and is fraud.
This is a good deal for the students. Does PGCC want anything in return?
When a student uses the discount voucher program, the College expects the student to tell us the exam results. The College will use this information to evaluate the effectiveness of our certification preparation courses. We will only use this information in group form and will not provide individual results or scores to anyone.
