Reach, Achieve, and Evolve

The Women of Wisdom (W.O.W) program is designed to provide unique opportunities for students at Prince George’s Community College to enhance their academic, personal, and professional development in a holistic environment.

The W.O.W. program offers interactive workshops, panel discussions, lectures, cultural excursions, retreats, conferences, and summits throughout the academic year.

Open to Everyone

W.O.W. is open to all students interested in personal growth, leadership development, and community engagement.

Why W.O.W.?

Women of Wisdom participants are paired with a mentor and are assigned an advisor to meet with them at least twice each semester. They are also coached on personal, academic, and career goals and receive both a semester and end-of-year evaluation.

Program Requirements

Students must be enrolled at Prince George’s Community College and willing to attend an orientation session to participate. They must also attend four mandatory workshops each semester, complete three to four hours of community service, meet with the W.O.W. program manager twice a semester, and attend scheduled conferences or summits.

W.O.W. participants must be committed to completing the program and accomplishing their educational goals.
