Our Service-Learning Office supports faculty, students, and community partner organizations in identifying and implementing Service-Learning projects.
Mission
The Service-Learning Program supports student learning through meaningful service experiences that enable faculty and students to have a positive impact on the community and address real community needs.
Primary Goals
- Enable students to practice skills and apply classroom knowledge through related service experiences.
- Provide student assistance to community agencies and to the people served by the agencies.
- Provide training, support and service-learning development opportunities for faculty and students.
- Promote, manage and implement the Service-Learning Faculty Institute and Fellow Program and graduate faculty members as Service-Learning Fellows each year.
