National Hispanic College Fair
Discover your academic future at the Prince George's County, MD In-Person College Fair - Fall 2023, featuring 50+ colleges/universities.
The National Hispanic College Fair is an event designed to connect Hispanic and Latino students with colleges and universities that are interested in recruiting them. This fair provides an opportunity for high school students, particularly those of Hispanic or Latino descent, to learn about higher education options, explore different colleges and universities, and gather information about admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and other educational resources.
PGCC is excited to partner with the National Hispanic Fairs, Inc. to host the fair in person in the Dukes Student Center. Although we are close to outgrowing the event's current space due to the growing amount of interest in this event annually hosted during Hispanic Heritage Month we are welcoming area high school students in groups being bused in from their high schools so that can meet with representatives from colleges and universities from across the country who have set up booths or tables to provide information about their institutions, academic programs, campus life, and more. Students and their families can ask questions, collect brochures, and engage in discussions with college representatives to help them make informed decisions about their future education.

We are honored to host over 50 colleges and universities at this event. Complimentary bus transportation services have been arranged for high schools and other school districts, with a dedicated 1-hour allocation per school to minimize disruptions. Students will be provided with plastic bags for the collection of materials, and a prepared list of questions is available upon request via email.
Additionally, a scanning app will be provided to students that will enable exchange information from colleges and universities they visit during the fair.
Our primary focus is ensuring the safety of our students, and excellent security provisions will be in place prior to the College Fair.
