Our Commitment
PGCC is committed to removing barriers so everyone can fully participate in learning and college life. Whether you are taking a class, visiting our campus, attending a performance, or using our website, we want your experience at PGCC to be accessible.
This page explains how to request accommodations, report accessibility concerns, and connect with the teams that can help.
Academic Accessibility
If You Need Academic Accommodations
Disability Support Services (DSS) works with students who need academic accommodations, such as extended test time, course materials in alternate formats, note-taking support, adaptive technology, or sign language interpretation during class.
- Phone: 301-546-0838
- Email: dss@pgcc.edu
If you are a new student, the process for requesting DSS services includes providing disability documentation, attending a DSS orientation, and completing an intake meeting. View the steps to apply or request DSS services.
If You Need Help with an Online Course
Contact eLearning Services if you are having technical trouble logging in or navigating an online, hybrid, or remote course.
- Phone: 301-546-0463
- Email: eLearning@pgcc.edu
If the issue is an accessibility barrier within your course content, such as missing captions or an inaccessible document, contact DSS or your instructor.
Campus Accessibility
Request On-Campus Support
If you need accessibility support while visiting campus, contact DSS at dss@pgcc.edu or call 301-546-0838, and we will determine the best way to assist you.

Digital Accessibility
Report a Website Issue
Fill out our Website Feedback and Accessibility Concerns Form if you encounter an accessibility problem on our website. Your feedback helps us identify issues, and we will follow up with you directly if needed.
Event Accessibility
The Center for Performing Arts offers accessibility services for guests attending performances.
Sign Language Interpretation
A sign language interpreter is available for any performance with at least three weeks’ advance notice. To request an interpreter, email contact-cpa@pgcc.edu or call 301-546-7272. This service is subject to the availability of suitable seating and a qualified interpreter.
Wheelchair-Accessible Seating
Please request accessible seating when purchasing tickets. Our ticket office staff are trained to help guests select the seating that best meets their needs. The center’s main entrance is equipped with power doors. Each venue has an accessible entrance, and house managers can direct guests to the accessible entrance closest to their seats.
