PGCC Athletics began with a men’s basketball program shortly after the College's inception. After relocating to the Largo campus in 1968, the department expanded to include baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s bowling, golf, softball, and men’s and women’s track and field. Today, the department sponsors baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, men’s and women's soccer, and men’s and women’s track and field. PGCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region 20, and Maryland Junior College Athletic Association (MD JUCO).
