Enhance your health care role as a registered nurse case manager or delegating nurse.

Our Maryland Board of Nursing-approved program for registered nurses (RNs) who serve as case managers and delegating nurses is designed for RNs working in Maryland’s assisted living facilities. This program equips registered nurses with essential knowledge on delegation, covering Nurse Practice Act requirements and the foundational principles for supervising nursing functions. Participants will learn to confidently delegate and oversee medication technicians, enhancing their role as trusted leaders in patient care.

Program Requirements

  1. Must be a registered nurse (RN).
  2. Must be in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON).
  3. Register for Registered Nurse Case Manager and Delegating Nurse Assisted Living.
  4. Pay for the course.
  5. Successfully complete the program.

Course Requirements

  • Register for NRC-302: $215
  • Pick up the required booklets (COMAR and manual) from the Center of Health Studies, Room 2405
  • Complete pre-test and post-test verification forms and assessments
  • Attend all three sessions
