Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) support health care teams, assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring comfort and safety. Our program equips you with the essential knowledge, hands-on skills, and confidence to excel as a certified nursing assistant, delivering quality care and positively impacting patients’ lives.

Program Requirements

  1. Be 16 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
  2. Take and pass the Reading Accuplacer Test, scoring a 230 or higher.
  3. Complete the PGCC New Student Orientation.
  4. Register for both CNA Theory and Clinical.
  5. Pay for the course.
  6. Successfully complete the program.
  7. Complete the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) Initial Nursing Assistant Application.

    Payment Options

    While there is no official payment plan for this course, you may be able to make a down payment to hold your spot and arrange to make scheduled payments with the Coordinator.

    The total amount for the course must be paid before the end of the course. Please note that an outstanding balance for one class may keep you from attending the next one.
