Who Should Enroll?
Individuals who perform HR duties or are currently enrolled students who wish to verify, validate, enhance, or expand their HR capabilities are likely candidates for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
SHRM membership is not required for eligibility, and individuals do not need to be employed when they apply.

Cost: $1,325*
This course is designed to prepare HR professionals for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certification exams. Based on SHRM’s Competency Model, the curriculum incorporates real-world case studies, interactive discussions, and the firsthand insights of certified instructors.
Course Requirements
To successfully complete the course, participants must:
- Attend at least 75% of the classes
- Complete all assignments and practice exams
- Achieve a score of 70% or higher on the take-home final exam
This course provides comprehensive preparation but does not guarantee success on the SHRM certification exams. Active participation and completion of all requirements are essential.

eLearning Methods at PGCC
Online Classes: Learn on Your Own Time Online
Students taking an online class can access course content 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and engage in discussions using Canvas with their instructors and fellow learners. Instructors will set deadlines and due dates for assignments, tests, projects, and other coursework.
Remote Classes: Learn in Real Time
Students taking a remote class will meet online via the Canvas platform at scheduled times. Students will access learning materials, view assignments, and participate in discussions via Canvas.
