The W.I.S.E. Path Program is a student support system combining academic pathways, proactive advising, financial aid, and community engagement to help students persist and graduate on time.
How Do I Apply?
- Apply to PGCC.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Maryland Higher Education Commission ONE Application (MHEC One App), and accept any federal and state grant aid awarded.
- Complete all admission requirements.
- Check your PGCC email for important next steps from the WISE Path Staff.

Participation in the WISE Path program is exclusively for the following students:

What's the Commitment?
Submit your WISE Path Program Commitment Agreement to participate in the WISE Path program for the next 3 years. After filling out the agreement, students will be assigned a WISE Path Advisor and begin planning for Learning Squad courses.

Financial Incentives
The WISE program provides financial support and a variety of incentives to empower student success.

This program is an official replication of the City University of New York's (CUNY) Accelerated Study in Academic Programs (ASAP), a nationally recognized initiative proven to double graduation rates by providing comprehensive financial, academic, and personal support.
